Employees at a business turnaround company will be helping its
chosen charity to get a 'Head Start' by running a collective 65
miles to raise money to buy life-saving equipment.
Insolvency specialists Wilson Field Ltd, based on Ecclesall Road
South, has supported Neurocare for over three years with a variety
of fundraising initiatives to help buy equipment for use in the
Royal Hallamshire Hospital's Neuro theatres.
Twenty-one staff members from Wilson Field will be getting their
trainers on to support Neurocare's latest fundraiser - the Head
Start 5k at Rother Valley Country Park this Sunday.
Nick Wilson, managing director of Wilson Field, said: "Neurocare
is our chosen charity and we are always looking at new ways to
raise money for the fantastic work they do.
"Once again the company is sponsoring the Head Start event and
has covered all the costs which mean that 100% of people's entry
fee is able to go directly to fund the work of Neurocare.
"We are really pleased that 21 employees have also decided to
come together and compete in the 5k - we wish them and all the
participants the best of luck."
Neurocare also fund research projects and specialist training so
that people suffering from Neurological conditions can receive the
best care available.
