Sheffield’s Junior Chamber is welcoming their twinned chamber, JCI Mayo from Ireland, to the city this weekend to mark their official association.
The weekend’s events, which will include personal development, networking, volunteering and training opportunities, will begin officially with a reception on Friday afternoon, hosted by the Lord Mayor Councillor Vickie Priestly at Sheffield Town Hall. Junior Chamber International members will benefit from training on Linkedin and organizational development from visiting Ireland National Deputy President Derek Reilly, as well as volunteering as part of their community action programme.
The visit will coincide with Sheffield’s Tramlines Festival: three days of music at different venues across the city.
Junior Chamber International Sheffield President, Dan Senter, said: “We are proud to welcome fellow young entrepreneurs from Ireland to Sheffield to sample the warm hospitality of the Steel City. Sheffield has so much to offer in terms of tourism and business opportunities, so it seemed like a great time to welcome our visitors over during the iconic Tramlines Festival.”
