The Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies FC have revealed their latest sponsors at a press conference this week in the shape of Innovation Financial Services Ltd.

Hugh McAuley and Stewart Groves from Innovation approached the club with the proposition of financial investment of 6 figures over a 3 year period which for the club is a phenomenal statement of intent.

John Buckley, the Belles Manager said: "I'm delighted with Stewart and Hugh (from Innovation) backing us for the next few seasons. Alan and I have built a solid relationship with the boys and I just hope we can reward them in some way."

John went on, "As with all our sponsors we're just happy to work with them and if the girls and coaches can help to promote Innovation it just cements the partnership going forward.

"Hopefully this will enable us to compete on a different level financially and allow us to level out the playing field in terms of competition!"

Alan Smart,The Belles Business Manager also said: "Days like this are really why I was originally asked to help and the club, JB and the coaches take care of the playing side and I'm busy working away behind the scenes to bring investment into the club.

"The FA WSL set the ball rolling and it's down to the clubs to complement that with outside investment.

"Stewart and Hugh from Innovation talk about a chance meeting and to be fair, JB and I met Stewart at a Christmas function in Bawtry late last year and today bring to completion those negotiations over the last 6 months.

"What is really pleasing is that both Hugh and Stewart are proper people, you know the type of guys you can have a chat over a beer or a cuppa and have in their own right a business acumen that can only but enhance our standing and heritage in the ladies game for years to come."

Hugh McAuley from Innovation Financial Services Ltd has a strong background of football having played professionally in the Football League and currently residing in the role of owner at Formby Football club. He said;

"Stewart and myself were so proud to see our logo's emblazened on the shirts in the recent game against Chelsea. Hopefully this partnership will provide the financial backing needed for the Belles, as well as a fair amount of awareness on a local scale for ourselves.
