Doncaster race-goers will be quids in next month, as a brand new
'ca$h-back' voucher, a new slant on the racecourse's award-winning
2011 Free Raceday offer, is launched today for a popular race
meeting.
Racegoers who pre-order heavily discounted tickets for Doncaster
Racecourse's flat race meeting on Friday, April 27th
will receive vouchers to the value of the minimum ticket price, as
the venue continues to build on its innovative approach to
attracting new race-goers.
For the first 15,000 tickets booked online for the day in
advance of the 27th April meeting, customers will
receive five individual £1 vouchers, redeemable against food and
drink at racecourse bars and food outlets, in return for the cost
of the Grandstand or Family ticket purchased.
The voucher will effectively cancel out the cost of a Grandstand
or Family admission ticket at £5, and ensure better value for £10
County Enclosure tickets and £15 Premier entry costs. To
ensure Restaurant customers also benefit from the Ca$h Back Race
Day dining packages have also been reduced on the day to £60 per
person.
Mark Spincer, managing director of Doncaster Racecourse, said:
"We expect this offer to be really popular with race-goers, if last
year's free raceday experience is anything to go by.
"We work really hard to ensure that every fixture in our racing
calendar, as well as our non-racing and hospitality packages,
represent excellent value for money.
"This new offer will ensure that race-goers can enjoy a great
day of entertainment, at what looks sure to be a fantastic fixture,
with the full cost of their tickets refunded in the form of food
and drink vouchers to be spent at the course on the day."
The raceday is sponsored by Doncaster-based KAT
Communications. It is the first raceday the company has
supported, and is set to be a busy fixture as only the second flat
meeting of the summer season.
The company will be running a text competition on the day to
celebrate their new partnership with the racecourse, using
admission ticket bar code numbers and the clients' name to win a
new Apple iPad.
Anthony Temperton, director of Kat Communications, said: "We are
delighted to commence our partnership with Doncaster Racecourse on
what will be another great day with a big crowd at Town Moor.
"We are looking forward to working together to build our
business profile with such an iconic venue."
Mr Spincer added: "We are really pleased to be working with KAT
Communications, a really vibrant and growing Doncaster company, and
we hope that the fixture proves to be a big success for them, as
well as our regular race-goers."
