Local Printer Triumphs over Adversity

Printing.com Doncaster is celebrating its re-opening, with Mickey Walker Director of Football at Doncaster Rovers, after a devastating flood which caused irrevocable damage to its printing presses and equipment.

Following a total refurbishment and investment into 3 new printing presses the company is set to increase its client base thanks to the ability to now offer larger format printing.

"Initially the flood seemed quite devastating, but thankfully we managed to get through the worst of it and still deliver the majority of clients' orders on time!" said Ian Kendall, proprietor of Printing.com Doncaster.  "It also caused me to rethink the business strategy which has now actually presented me with an opportunity for growth and the ability to service a wider customer base offering businesses larger printing formats."

Members of the Doncaster business community are invited to a celebratory evening event.  There will be champagne and canapés and guests will also receive a discount voucher to enjoy a sumptuous meal at one of Doncaster's most popular restaurants Relish, plus the chance to see the quality of print and variety of products available.

Ian continued: "We invite our guests to discover what we are now able to offer and to meet the team that can essentially be an extension of their own marketing department or even become their company's marketing department.  It is also an opportunity for us to thank our loyal customers that have supported us through the last couple of months."

The official opening ceremony will take place at 5.30pm, with invited VIP guests 'popping the cork' and joining Ian and the team in a celebratory glass of bubbly.  The event will take place at 70 Silver Street  Doncaster, South Yorkshire DN1 1HT.
