Doncaster Rovers are offering corporate fans the chance to help
build for the club's future by becoming an honorary director for
the day.
Chairman of the club John Ryan is inviting business people to
join him on match days as VIP directors to help back the club when
it needs support more than ever to retain its place in the npower
Championship.
Andrew Whitham, commercial manager for the Rovers, said: "This
VIP opportunity will be a day to remember for the honorary director
and two guests. The day will start with a collection in John Ryan's
chauffeur-driven Bentley, a behind-the-scenes tour with the man
himself and a pre-match meet and greet with manager Dean Saunders
and players in the dressing room.
"Each director will also be personally presented with a signed
and framed shirt from the player of their choice having enjoyed top
class hospitality, a three-course meal with John Ryan in the luxury
of the Rovers' board room and seats in the directors' box to watch
the match."
The honorary directors' companies will also benefit from their
logos and a personal Thank You appearing in the match day
programme, along with a pitch perimeter board in a prime location
for the remaining games this season.
The Director for the Day scheme costs £5,000 which will go
straight into the club's transfer pot, helping to bring in talented
footballers from around the world.
Chairman John Ryan said: "This is a fantastic opportunity
available to theDoncasterbusiness community and a chance to get
behind and show commitment to your local club.
"In contributing to the club you are helping to maintain our
future in one of the top football leagues in the world. The only
thing that could top this experience is the Rovers bagging three
points on the day!"
