The inaugural 'Visit Bawtry' Race Meeting, in partnership with
MODE Magazines, is under starter's orders as a host of the town's
businesses join forces to provide race sponsorship for six of the
races on Saturday 28th April 2012.
The 'Visit Bawtry' stakes sees racing sponsorship stalwarts, The
Crown Hotel and Robinsons of Bawtry, joined by Ziniz Tuscan
Restaurant, Fine & Country Property Agents, China Rose
Restaurant, Innovation Financial Services, Coco Ice Cellar Cocktail
Bar and MODE Magazines, all of whom are looking forward to a maiden
outing on the hallowed turf of Town Moor.
"We are thrilled to be part of the inaugural 'Visit Bawtry' Race
Meeting and are looking forward to playing our part in promoting
Bawtry to a race going crowd," commented Alex Calzini Proprietor
Ziniz.
Fellow restaurateur Estelle Johnston of China Rose concurred,
"This is a very proud moment for all businesses in Bawtry to hold
such an evening at our wonderful Racecourse. We are confident the
race meeting will be a huge success and we shall look forward to
welcoming race goers back to Bawtry after the racing
concludes."
The event has been organised by Doncaster Racecourse and Bawtry
Retail Association (BRA) which has seen business owners in the town
form a partnership to promote Bawtry as the premier place in
Doncaster to live, work, shop, socialise and enjoy the finer things
in life.
The evening gets underway at 5.05pm with the final horses
romping over the finish line just after 8.15pm. And, whilst the
town's retailers and their guests will have been mingling on the
Champagne Lawn all evening, the party doesn't stop there!
All race goers are invited back to Bawtry, where upon
presentation of a race ticket you can enjoy a complimentary glass
of Pimms courtesy of Coco Ice Cellar Cocktail Bar followed by a
glass of Champagne and also Oysters supplied by Bawtry's latest
business, ZUVU - a fresh fish and seafood bar.
"Each of the race sponsors will have the opportunity to choose
the Best Turned Out Horse and also make the winners presentation,"
commented Ross Jarvie Fine & Country Property Agents.
"We extend a warm welcome to all to join us, for what promises,
to be a very enjoyable evening for everyone."
Tickets for the evening can be purchased from Doncaster
Racecourse by visiting www.doncaster-racecourse.co.uk.
